STEP 1: First start by cooking your tomato sauce for the fried yam or Yuka. Cook the tomato, garlic and onion together. Once it’s done, use your blender to blend it well. Now add some vegetable oil in a pan, let the oil be a little bit hot. Pour your blended vegetables into the pan, then add some tomato paste to it. Mix it all. After that, add your spices (garlic powder, Season-All seasoning, black pepper or Goya seasoning) and finally your cube Maggi. Let it cook for 2 minutes and you are done with the tomato sauce! Easy right? Now let’s get to part 2 of the cooking.
STEP 2: This step is to make the chicken. You can get store bought smoked chicken at Walmart or other stores, it’s already cooked and well smoked. If you can not get smoked chicken, you can have your fried yam or Yuka with fried fish, eggs, sausage, fried chicken e.t.c… the list is long.
Cut your smoked chicken into pieces. Then put it in the cooking pan and add slices of onion, tomato, garlic, add the spices and your cube Maggi. Mix it well! Let the ingredients in the chicken be cooked and that’s it! It does not take long.
STEP 3: Time to fry your Yam or Yuka. First of all, peel the yam or Yuka. Slice it, wash it and add a bit of salt, mix it. Once the oil is hot, start frying your yam or Yuka till it’s done.
And Voila! Done Deal!
