- Flour3 1/2 Cups
- Rapid Rise Instant Yeast1 Packs
- Milk3 Cups
- Milk Powder (Nido)2 Tablespoons
- Vanilla Flavor2 Tablespoons
- Ground Nutmeg1 Tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil
Here are the few & easy steps to make Galettes (Fried Dough)
STEP 1: Warm your milk, then add two tablespoons of Nido (Milk powder). Mix it up! After mixing, add a pinch of salt, a tablespoon of ground nutmeg, and two tablespoons of vanilla flavor. Mix it up once more.
STEP 2: Now it’s time to add your pack of yeast. Once it’s done, mix it up again until combined. Then, go ahead and add your flour.
STEP 3: This time, it is an exercise of using your energy and strength to beat the flour, but make sure that your dough is not too heavy or too watery. After you are done beating the flour, cover it with a clean towel for about 1 hour.
STEP 4: 1 hour has passed and it’s time to fry your dough. Put some vegetable oil in the pan. Once the oil is hot, start frying your dough (take small portion at a time while frying it) until you have fried everything.
Note: Since no sugar was added, spread the dough with sugar before eating it because they are not sweet.
